How healthy is
your work life?
You probably go to the dentist, and the doctor.
But when did you last check in on the ‘health’ of your career?
I offer complimentary Work Life Check-ups to help you understand whether your current work life is sustainable - and what to do if it’s not.
Just as you’re proactive about your physical health, it’s wise to take a look at the ‘health’ of your work life too: How sustainable is it? What impact is it having on the rest of your life? And what’s coming down the line that you should keep an eye on, or maybe even avoid?
Think of it as your annual check-up, but this time, it’s for your career.
There are no tests here. You simply need to be able to answer:
How clear are you about your professional direction?
How much are work demands affecting your daily life?
If you can tell me those two things, you’re ready for your check-up. Book now.
What you’ll discover:
Using my proprietary Professional Momentum Model, I'll show you exactly where you are - and more importantly, which direction you're heading.

What it looks like to move successfully through the zones
Practical steps you can take immediately, personalised to your specific results

My clients come from a wide range of industries, but they all share a common curiosity about how sustainable their work lives are and what can be done to positively influence their unique situation.
They’re often high-achieving professionals, business owners, or leaders, who love what they do (or at least, used to love it) but who are now asking questions about whether things could be working better.
They include:
Healthcare or medical professionals, in private practice or the public system or both
Academics and University staff, educators
Business (or side hustle) owners
Corporate leaders, Executives, People leaders
Creative professionals in the Arts, Cultural or GLAM (Gallery, Libraries, Archives and Museum) sectors
Professionals in Communications and Marketing
Those in the Public sector
I believe that everyone should be able to benefit from greater understanding of their own situation, which is why the Work Life Check-up is a free service.

Neither! The Work Life Check-up is a strategic diagnostic tool that looks at how certainty about your career and the demands of your work intersect. It's specifically focused on identifying how much ‘momentum’ your work life has, and how we could influence that momentum to be sustainable (as opposed to too high or too low).
Think of it as a strategic, pre-emptive check-up for your professional life. We're diagnosing where you are and where you’ve been, and prescribing practical interventions based on your specific journey.
-
No, you absolutely don't need to be currently employed. In fact, I work with people who are in career transitions, have been made redundant, or are between roles. Not having a job creates its own kind of impact on your life, and the check-up helps you understand where you are and what direction to take.
The Work Life Check-up is particularly valuable if you:
Have been made redundant and need clarity on next steps
Are transitioning between careers
Haven't been ‘in the workforce’ for some time (perhaps you’ve been a primary carer)
Are considering a portfolio career and want to explore what that looks like
Are between roles and want to make strategic rather than reactive choices
This is actually an ideal time to take stock and work out what you want to achieve in your career, rather than just jumping into the next available option.
If finances are tight, remember that the Work Life Check-up is completely free, with no obligation to work together in the future. You will find value in our conversation, and walk away with insights and increased clarity, no matter what.
-
Your privacy is paramount to our work together. Everything we discuss during our Work Life Check-up, our sessions and correspondence remains strictly confidential. I understand that you're entrusting me with sensitive information about your work practices, career challenges, personal aspirations and more.
Please be assured that nothing you share will be disclosed to anyone else without your explicit written permission. This includes any details about your workplace, colleagues, or personal circumstances.
Our professional relationship is built on a foundation of absolute trust and discretion, and our conversations are a safe space where you can explore challenges and opportunities and express yourself honestly with complete confidence.

If burnout has even crossed your mind, it's worth doing the check-in. The Work Life Check-up shows where you sit on the Professional Momentum Model grid and, more importantly, your trajectory.
The conversation is entirely non-judgemental. I’m familiar with burnout and burnout recovery, which is why I’m passionate about early intervention and supporting undersupported professionals.
My goal is to give you clarity and agency. Once we know where you are, we can identify the actions you can take, and what you need to do first.
If you feel like you need immediate assistance, Beyond Blue has helpful resources. They even offer an online tool if you’re not ready to talk to someone face-to-face.
Remember, burnout is never the fault of the individual, and help is available.

I believe that everyone should be able to benefit from clarity about their work life sustainability, and what the risks are of staying in a zone for too long, no matter their financial situation.
At its heart, my work is about preventing (or assisting recovery from) professional burnout. I’m here to help with the ‘work’ part of work/life balance. I’ve combined my skills in performance strategy, solution design, operations, leadership, mentoring and change management to provide a unique service that helps people’s work lives work better.
Based on client feedback, I’m strongly confident that you’ll leave a Work Life Check-up feeling ‘lighter’, clearer about your situation, and more certain of the right thing to do next.
-
Absolutely. My approach incorporates neurodivergence and recognises that traditional advice based on neurotypical preferences doesn't work for everyone.
We'll explore strategies that recognise and work with your preferred ways of working, not against them.
The visual element of the Work Life Check-up, the mapping of the zones and the creative visual frameworks that I’ve devised for each zone often resonate with neurodivergent professionals. The conversation will offer new ways of thinking about your situation and possible paths forward.
-
There's nothing you need to prepare! Come as you are, with whatever is on your mind about your work life. The assessment is designed to uncover insights through our conversation, not through homework.
That said, it helps to be somewhere you can speak freely and have about 50 minutes without interruptions.
At the heart of our conversation will be two questions:
How sure are you of your career direction?
How much is your work impacting on your day-to-day life?
If you can talk to me about those two elements, you’re ready for a check-up.
-
Sessions are conducted via video call (Google Meet). You just need a stable internet connection and a device with camera and microphone.
Have paper and pen handy for the exercises.
I provide a written summary of the session within 24 hours of our meeting, but you’re always welcome to take your own notes throughout.
-
After your Work Life Check-up, you'll have:
Clear understanding of your current zone, and the risks of staying there too long without a plan
Insight into what your trajectory might look like without intervention
Initial strategies appropriate for your zone placement
The option to continue with deeper work if desired
A written summary of our conversation, sent within 24 hours
After our conversation, you then have the option of working with me as a client. My programs are completely personalised to your circumstances. We work together over a period of months to design and implement a more sustainable work life for you, whatever that looks like for your particular goals.
There’s no obligation to work together beyond the Check-up. Some people prefer to process the information before contacting me about my programs. There's no pressure - the check-up is valuable by itself, even without further strategies and solutions.
